The 2012 costume competition
will be judged on both days of the Medieval Fair, Groups and Adults at 12:30 pm and teenagers and children from 2:30pm, in the combat arena.
The categories for 2012 will be:
Historical – Public: Medieval covering 500AD to 1500 AD (eg. Late Roman, Celtic, Picts, Vikings, Normans, Plantagenet, Renaissance)
- Adult Male,
- Adult Female
- Teen Female (11-16 years)
- Teen Male (11-16 years)
- Child Male (5-10 Years)
- Child Female (5-10 Years)
- Child (4 and under)
Best Group Historical: Family or Group (eg. Knights, Knight & Lady, Medieval court, band of Peasants, etc)
Historical – Re-enactor: Medieval covering 500AD to 1500 AD (eg. Late Roman, Celtic, Picts, Vikings, Normans, Plantagenet, Renaissance)
Best Group Re-enactors: Group (eg. Group of Knights, Dancers, medieval soldiers, band of marauding vikings, etc)
Fantasy – (eg. Gothic, Hollywood Genre: Braveheart, Camelot, Fairies, Dragons, Witches, Wizards etc)
- Adult Male,
- Adult Female
- Teen Female (11-16 years)
- Teen Male (11-16 years)
- Child Male (5-10 Years)
- Child Female (5-10 Years)
- Child (4 and under)
Best Group Fantasy: Family or Group (eg. Fantasy Knights, group of characters from a movie, the fellowship of the ring, etc)
Best Dressed Stall -
- Food Merchants
- Craft Merchants
