The Border Celts are a contemporary Step and Reel dance team, bringing to the modern world an ancient form of dance from the Highlands of Scotland, which dates back to the 5th century.
Also Known as the Brenon Step, the last recorded time it was danced was in the 1700's. This old world form of dance is once again enjoying a revival in Nova Scotia and other various parts of the world. Proud members of the Scottish Association, the Celts wear the Black Watch tartan, traditional to the Border Rogues. Their motto is "Allegiance to none".
Established in 1999, the Celts perform at a wide variety of Cultural events and festivals throught the year.
